Valentine

There wasn’t a candlelight dinner nor revolving restaurant, but I was touched enough. Acknowledging the existence of the day was enough, having the celebration was even better. We have probably come to the age where material isn’t the highlight anymore but rather the opportunity to spend the day in celebration of yet another great year spent together. What meant the world to me was that we were able to spend the time together. It indeed meant a lot to me.

Korean BBQ was once of our earlier memories together and it was sentimental that Timmy thought that we should go there. Before that, we hung out at Subang Parade eating 1901 and then headed to Snowflake where we sampled Taiwanese dessert. Is it that I have become more emo lately that, despite having nothing swooning with romantism, I somehow felt that the world belonged to us and only us that day?

Han Woo Ri was full of people that day but any time spent waiting with Timmy is a bonus =)

Our main course of beefy beef

The tons of condiments

The blurry cockles

And an ugly car we saw on the way home. Only one side of the back windscreen has 'borders'. We thought it was a Nissan but it was actually a Mitsuoka who used a logo similar to Nissan.

Just back from tuition, I found out that Ryane’s younger Malay bf called Anugera gave her 3 roses for Valentine and Rachel’s Indian bf baked her a cake. Awww… so sweeet! Since when have primary school kids become so sweet? And Ryane says her bf calls her honey and baby. Not baby as in Baby Sue, but pronounced as ‘babeh’. I said ‘What a flirt!’ And Ryane asked me what’s a flirt. Adoi, my students ah..
