The story of 2 hands
One day, Righteous hurt himself. His radius was broken and he had to wear a cast. Now, he couldn’t do things with Leftwing again and he felt sad. But he liked Leftwing, so he decided to try his best to be back as usual. It itched a little inside the cast and it was pretty humid in there too.
Righteous called Leftwing over; he wanted to meet him and clap. There was no answer from Leftwing. Righteous moved closer to nudge him. Oww, it hurt! “Leftwing, could you just come a little closer? I wanna clap with you.” Leftwing refused to, and just simply refused to. Righteous was shocked and puzzled, and tried to move closer again. He felt like screaming in pain but he kept trying because Leftwing just wouldn’t come closer. He tried and tried but each time Leftwing just wouldn’t even budge an inch.
Despite his injury, Righteous made an effort and thought that Leftwing should too, since that they had enjoyed clapping so much. Now if Leftwing is adamant to not clap, what's the point if he kept trying?
Moral of the story: It takes 2 hands to clap.

September is a short month, so why should it be challenging? Things won’t change but decisions will be made. And that would change things later. Everything around me. Guess it’s a time for challenges; things that would better our lives. Of course decisions made will better our lives, who would make decisions that would worsen their lives? And if it seems worse, remember that God has a reason for everything that He made happen. Though it might seem worse at the beginning, I believe that in the long run, there has to be a good in it.
Maybe it’s a good month to do some testing. Kinda feel sad though. I just am not emotionally strong, and I hate myself for that. Why can’t I be an iron lady? Tears must flow every single time and it pisses me off.
Or maybe should I be a better person, so that things will fall my way too? Am I such a terrible person? Is Lee Sue Ann just not that worth it? Have I been overestimating myself?
*****
Some things are better not known. A bit wee of curiosity is there, but I think the truth will hurt. So as people say, "what you don’t know won’t hurt you". Yes, I believe in that. I rather not know.

Decisions, decisions, decisions..
Headache #2: If not to bonus, to Samsung or not to Samsung?
I think I have sort of made my decision on the 2nd one, to at least go for the 2nd interview, but the main problem is the 1st. The 2nd rests on the 1st! It would have been better if I was at least skewed to one direction but I would say that it is totally a 50-50 chance.
But then, the Samsung isn't what I want to do. Cos it's the only offer I have so far and it's in Klang, I would save a lot. And there's the chance to learn SAP and Six Sigma as well. And it's well, SAMSUNG. But working hours are 8-6!! Have you ever heard of that? The environment isn't classy too but then who cares if te pay is good? Btw, it isn't, it really isn't.
Might as well wait til March for the bonus, I was here for the whole year and deserve something for my work (or the lack of it =D). But if I were to stay, I'd have to achieve the visitation target, which I had let it be due to to 'I'm leaving already' attitude. And might as well have gone for the planning course and gain something.
Oh God, please shine some light on me?
I have the whole Merdeka weekend to think what I should do. Decided to go for the interview first, and then I'll see what happens. For all I know, might not even get the job hahaha. Which makes it easier as the decision's made for me. I always like decisions made for me :D Sometimes I do think that if I don't get things, then lagi senang =P But that's not a good attitude of course, damn.
As usual..
Work grunts:
Stupid clients are so pampered. We gave them notes and a manual, and even serve them bloody currypuffs for training but then they want a step-by-step manual and better refreshments. Aww.. how sad. Khong kan!! Serve you sai, want or not? I would attribute this to being dumb, cos if I or the others don't need manuals, you needing one would be dumb. Period. And also shallow; come for training but all you can think of is the food. Asshole.
Body grunts:
Whole body's aching today, dunno why. Tired tired tired.. taught tuition and tkd after work for 4 days straight, never done that before.
On the other hand, had some very funny conversation with the kids:
Vic (form1) : How old are you?
Me : Form 5 (I always do this with the kids)
Vic : I asked how old are you la!
Me : 17 la
Vic : She can drive car already.
Aaron (form1) : I thought 18 only can drive car?
Vic: Last year also she drive car already la, that time she is 16.
Aaron : Oh!
They don't see the fact that I am not 17 in the first place!
Tried that again last night with Yong Keat, a round botak Std 2 boy.
YK : (in Mandarin) Teacher how old are you?
Me : 16
YK : 16 but why so old wan?
KENA!! Cilaka fella.
Tkd grunts:
So I won! He was the first to call me and even twice this week. And it turned out that he wasn't against me in the first place; he is empty by nature. Not only that but I think it was actually rude. There wasn't class but the asshole didn't inform me. Does he think he is the only one running the class? Ok, then we don't have to come.
Me rushing from tuition was nothing compared to Vic who rushed from Batu Caves at 140km/h only to find that the class was cancelled for the day. I feel angry for people to be treated like that. Sorry to say this but I dunno what his wife sees in him, seems that there is nothing upstairs. But then, they married a few months after meeting each other through matchmakers, so maybe she didn't get a chance to see his true colours (or the lack of it) yet =P
I will give him a piece of my mind on this. I already tengking him this week whenever he said something stupid.
Confession:
Ok, I know that one day I will have to confess cos it does affect my conscience. It makes me feel embarassed and I thicken my skin whenever I do that, but I have no choice and it is actually nothing really wrong, when you think of it.
So I don't queue at the Klang Kesas exit!! I come from the right and head straight to the front!!
Done. I feel better now :D So if you see a Toyota with number BEC 3268 coming from the right, don't stare yeah =P
Last one:
My August part time income exceeded my full time one. Woot WOOT!!
Edit: Favourite song at the moment. Listening to it til getting a headache now, honestly hahaha. Presenting to you, I'm Yours by Jason Mraz..

Evaluation form
A few reasons prompted myself to sit down and think what kinda person I am. The reasons:
1. A series of simple things that don’t work out as they would simply should. Which I deduced that as being karma from being a terrible person.
2. I realised that the aptitude test that I did at an interview would see me having split personalities. Yeah, I admit it.
Like one moment, I am thinking that I should be grateful for just being able to see, speak and walk, the next moment I am being greedy for more and not appreciating what I already have. Few incidents really touched me. One day after parking my car near my house, I heard some loud karaoke singing. I was thinking what horrible jerk was that until I saw that it was actually a disabled man sitting on a trolley, singing for money. His partner who was pushing him around, had a deformed leg and was hobbling with crutches. The scene was heart-wrenching. Had it been an able-bodied person push him around, it was already sad enough.
Another is a mental patient who sells ballpens around my office area. We see him now an then while having breakfast. I’m not sure if he really is a mental patient but it is sad to hear those words uttered. They weren’t begging, they were earning a living. Once, he was going around asking for small change for 5 bucks, but everyone shook their heads. He was only asking for change. Ok, so I didn’t look into my bag as well. Maybe things are so bad these days that it is better to avoid trouble.
Ok, now my traits aren’t that important after all. But then, I’ve been wondering what people think of me. Though I always said that I don’t care if people like me or not, I will always be me and will not change for someone. See, I am fickle-minded.
So, I think my negative points are:
a. Do things half-heartedly. It might be because I am tired, but then it might not be.
b. Think too highly of myself
c. Tend to sometimes look down and make fun of people
d. Lazy. Yeah I am so very lazy.
e. Lack drive, will, energy and spirit
f. Have difficulty refusing people
And my plus points are:
a. Childish =D (Is that a plus point or does it belong above? =D)
b. I please people even though I am not pleased (related to point f above). So, I am nice =P
That’s about it. The bad outweighed the good, that is why karma comes? The interviewer asked what are my weaknesses, how could I say that I do things half-heartedly aka letting out a cough at the stairs? I couldn’t think of any and she said “So, you’re perfect?” “Nooo.. I’m not perfect…but…..errrr.. I really can’t think of any..” =D =D
*****
A compilation of hilarious conversation/moments that I gathered over time:
1. Scene: At a tkd class, between myself and Priyitha, a F4 tkd assistant that I don’t layan. She occasionally asks how is my mum, how is my bro, as if she knows them personally. She has never even met them!
P: Hi.. how’s your bf?
Me: Good, fine.
P: What’s his name?
Me: Hatim
P: Huh, what’s his name again?
Me: Hatim
P: What’s his full name?
Me: Mohd Hatim
P: Your boyfriend Malay ar..?
Me: (not answering the question) Why, he looks like Chinese meh?
P: He looks like a Christian.
Me: Hm. Why, Christians have a type of look wan ah?
P: Ya, Christians look like that wan. Is he mixed or pure Malay?
Me: Pure Malay.
P: Hm. (pause) Then he looks weird.
2. Scene: In the train on the way home from Sogo, between me and my mum. There was a very prim-and-proper Chinese aunty sitting opposite us, reading a thick plain-cover book.
Me: She’s reading a Bible.
Mum: That’s why her shirt is buttoned up to the neck.
3. Scene: In Edwin’s car, passing by the construction site of buildings beside Tesco, Bukit Tinggi.
Edwin: Ann, did you apply for any jobs here?
A question too dumb that is not worth answering. M-O-R-O-N, M-O-R-O-N, M-O-R-O-N and Moron’s that’s his name, OH!!
4. Scene: In Edwin’s car on the way to tkd.
Edwin: Ann, can you add the club logo as the background for the webpage?
Me: Cannot. (I’m already being nice with this answer instead of saying “I don’t want to”. It’s my page, it’s not yours and it’s never meant to be yours)
Edwin: Maybe you scan and put it there.
Me: I dunno how to do it. (being nice again instead of singing that song again)
Hello, you can’t create a template merely by scanning an image! It’s really not worth the energy, breath and saliva used to speak to him. He’s the only person who calls me Ann til hearing it sounds jijik now cos it’s associated with him.
Back to the self-evaluation, not sure if I can face criticisms but the last few things I said will surely affect all the positive things that you wanted to say about me! =D Feel free to comment (anonymously if you want to) on what makes Lee Sue Ann, Lee Sue Ann.
P/S I thought of revealing something that would make you know me better, but I changed my mind and decided to keep it to those special to me =) Nah, it’s just something about the spelling of my name, which Lee Sue Ann wasn’t the intended spelling. That is why my birth cert is special and cool! =D
Stupid Sunday mornings
Because I cancelled last Sunday’s class, this stupid lady came to make noise yesterday, saying that she had already paid for the tuition and kids don’t need a break. First, the class is merely postponed and there would still be 10 classes on total. Secondly, it was legitimate cos students are always given a week off at the end of every stage. Somehow the admin always ask me to carry on until Weng Sum asked why does his brother in the next class get off but we don’t? So I decided that we all need a break. The bloody woman had the cheek to ask if it was us (the centre) who wanted a break. Yes, I did but hell it was legal. If my Mandarin wasn’t that horrible, I would have given a piece of my mind, which is frustrated and tired. And then she said that her son didn’t learn anything. That is strange, then why would she sign him up for another 10 weeks worth 300+ bucks? Or she should just teach him herself at home and listen to all the profanities that Std 4 boy says.
On the other hand, I will miss the kids. Noisy and irritating but they are still cute in their own way. One of them messaged me yesterday saying ‘Teacher, this is my handphone number 017-…’ But who is this? Hahaha. Will miss the pudgy Weng Sum who doesn’t wear underwear and Kim Hoo whose mother doesn’t know he has a girlfriend with whom he takes a bus with to Klang Parade sometimes. He’s Std 5, mind you. So cute eh?
The most I will give is another 1 month, then I don’t give a damn if they find a teacher or not. People give a month or 2’s notice, not ‘wait-til-you-find-a-teacher’ notice.
And while I'm at this, I might as well share this pic. When I say someone is "empty", I really mean it, I am not exaggerating.
My Saturday mornings will be free October onwards, Sundays mornings will be free too soon, Thursday evenings will be possibly free in November too and seems like Taekwondo is becoming a piss-each-other-off zone. Don’t give a damn though sometimes I feel that it is my lifeline. At this time when many classes are bring dropped, is it a good idea to drop Erican? Hmm..I still want my Sundays off though. We’ll see how much money will I still get at the end of the month. October is supposed to see my weeknights taken up as well. I don’t see doing UPSR questions to be a permanent thing; 1 day there will eventually be enough, so I just have to make the most out of it while it’s still here.
One thing that hit me was when Timmy said that not everyone wants to work part-time; it’s only me and him. It hit me, yeah it hit me. People just ain’t that money-faced or money isn’t all the matter in their lives.
Sometimes I think why do I need to work this hard. Money is enough, I don’t need that much; money is just enough. But then, since when enough is enough? Lots of things need to be bought and of course, the more money we have, the better our lives can be. Ok, I rest my case. Will work hard(er)! End July was fun, collecting cheques from 5 sources and thinking who hasn’t paid me yet =P

A trip to Bentong
First stop was the Kolam Air Panas Bentong. Never been to a hot spring before and the smoke coming out of the water was scary.
There were 2 pools; one hot and another hotter. We tried the less hot one first. It was disgusting!! There was so much moss at the base of the pool that it was like walking on 3 inches of vegetation. Yeah, I called it ‘vegetables’. It was so disgusting that we were outta of there in a minute and hopped into the ‘hotter’ pool. It wasn’t that hot after a while and it felt really really good! It feels so nice to have a warm bath..mmm… There was vegetation too but wasn’t as much as the other pool. When the vegetation gets too much, I just hop onto Timmy’s back and get piggy-backed in the water, lazy girlfriend hahaha.
Next stop: Dim sum breakfast in town. Bentong town was jam-packed; everyone must be heading to the pasar pagi and also for dim sum breakfast, as the restaurant was full and we only got a table because we had already called for reservations. But there were no more chee cheong fun and porridge although it was only around 10am+. It was that popular. Wanted to snap pics but the camera got left in the car, phone was running low on batt and besides, there was nothing spectacular in taste and looks =P After breakfast, we went to the nearby pasar pagi for a short walk.
Next stop: Chamang waterfall. It was a nice waterfall but the water was soo.. cold.
The guys are all checking out something.
Timmy deep in thought even at the waterfalls..
Didn’t played much in the water cos it was cold and seems kinda deep as well, the rocks were slippery too. Besides, no other girl ventured into the water except me =P
Next stop: Steven’s home. Actually we go to his place after each stop to pee, bathe or to take stuff. But the final stop was to eat durians and yong tau foo, what a combination. So those who don’t eat durians like me would have to eat the yong tau foo. Not much fun here since I am not a durian fan. We drank coconut water too with poor Steven and Chan trying to break the coconuts. We were supposed to eat Bentong ice-cream with ABC too but somehow it got lost in the itinerary =(
One funny thing was that Desmond’s girlfriend is one of my clients! Turns out that his girlfriend is from Carat as well. She said no wonder I looked familiar and that I conducted training right? Oops! Going pakthor also can meet client. What a small world. But I can’t remember meeting her or her name.
And oh, it is nice when someone remembers and calls you by your name. Timmy’s boss, Ryan does =) Which shows that I am a regular feature among Timmy’s colleagues, just as Timmy is with mine =)
Here are more pics.. I like these group pics, they are so nice.
We left Bentong at 4.30pm, 2.5hours later than scheduled =) It was a nice trip, dipping into 2 sorts of waters, hot and then cold! Still wondering what’s this Bentong ice-cream though..
Complete collection of pics here at my Picasa page.
Edit: More pics as I got them from Kevin and Desmond via Timmy. Some are embarrassing ones that I have uploaded to Picasa, so only the rajin ones to go there will get to see! =P
But this is my favourite... Hehehe.. looks like coming from Lost =D

In my days of absence..
2. I went for an interview. What’s strange was that we have to walk on a zebra-crossing in the company compound! Even though the entrance is directly opposite the guardhouse.
What’s annoying is that the interview took 4.5 hours! Holy-moly. Another record. The previous record was 3 at my current company, and that resulted in me getting a summon from MBPJ upon returning to my car after the interview. The maths and logic test was so damn tough and there were 25 personality test questions, where you have to shade ‘most’ and ‘least’ for each of the 25 questions. Never been so pissed attending an interview.
Total answers: 300!!!
SIAO!!
3. I heard Timmy say something funny. “Why is there bah kut teh everywhere in Klang?” Well, it’s like going to Kajang and saying “Why is there satay everywhere in Kajang?” =D
4. I had a thought. I decided that ‘YOU decide YOUR life’. YOU are the cause for everything that happens. YOU determine YOUR life and YOU have the right and ability to change it.
Like right now..
You hate your job. The stupid job’s so boring and this and that. The stupid boss misled you into working for the stupid company.
Your mother nags at you. Can’t she wait just a little while until you catch my breath upon just reaching home from work and tuition?
You don’t get a pay or bonus. You get pissed at the stupid cheapo company and the stupid boss.
Your partner leaves you. You blame him; it’s all his fault cos he has changed. Whoever admits that they are right in an argument?
It’s supposed to be:
Your job is boring. Then, YOU change it or make it interesting. After all, it was YOU who applied for it.
Your mother nags at you. Then, YOU do/undo whatever she is nagging for.
You don’t get a good pay or bonus. YOU must not have deserved it or if YOU do, just leave if the company really can’t afford it. And also, it was YOU who applied for it.
Your partner leaves you. YOU must have changed or done something that made him/her love you less and leave you. I think that is why marriages and relationships fail (IMHO as one of not much experience =D)
So, it’s all YOU, YOU and YOU. Although I pretty much like to blame others for things. We all do, don’t we?
So let’s wake up and change our lives and not blame anyone or anything for any shit that befalls us.
4. I had a chance to experience the magical 08.08.08 in my lifetime. What was I doing on that day at 8.08pm? Eating Ramly burger in Emily with Timmy =) I got a limited edition Coke bottle too, should have kept the receipt to show that it was bought on 08.08.08 as well. Just have a fascination with numbers and there’s this baby born on 08.08.08 at 8.08am weighing 8 pounds and 8 ounces. Is that freaky or what??
The girls must have heard it umpteenth times: We’ve gotta hurry!! So I missed this year’s but to me, 09.09.09 is the ultimate one. 9 looks nicer than 8 to me. We’ve still got 10.10.10, 11.11.11 and 12.12.12 at most. 11.11.11 would be nice cos it would be my mum’s birthday.
P/S This is not a hint or pressure or push whatsoever to the guy I am dating! Just a fantasy =)
5. Last weekend was supposed to be activity-ful. There was no tuition on Saturday, there was a BBQ by Timmy’s colleagues and we wanted to work part-time as event crew at some speed carnival as well. We were worried if they clashed, and I have to cancel Sunday’s classes as well. Finally..there were none! No BBQ and no part-time work. Suddenly from too many to none. Thought it amusing. This weekend we are heading to Bentong though. Will post pics if there is anything exciting.
6. And today, I moved to my new place which is situated right in front of the bosses’ room. From the last cubicle last year, I’ve moved front-er and front-er til I believe that one day, I will sit in the boss’ room. Hopefully as a boss hahaha..Nothing much to complain, there is no point to complain as well, as long as they can’t see my laptop screen, I am fine. Even though they are practically breathing down on me, the 2nd hand smoke from Big Man’s room is killing, the whole office passes by and distracts when they wanna pee and each time they open the door, the beep is annoying. Main thing is they must not see my screen!!
I think that I’ve changed. I think the tiredness from running around has made me energy-less to complain (and cry). MS kicked up a big fuss though she got to choose her place, isn’t the one sitting right in front and she even wanted cowboy swing doors!! But me, choiceless and right in front, somehow am calm, not angry and emotionless. Cool zombie.
