Thoughts quickie

After happily going on the 10 rounds of shopping, I arrived home on Thursday to find my credit card bill of RM 1300. Mak datuk! I thought it would be around 1k but 1.3k gave me a shock! =P That’s 7x my last month’s bill =D

Glad that Timmy has a chance to get his problem fixed. There was initially no solution, it was good as gone and then there was one but it was a gamble. Then came a better solution, which isn’t exactly the perfect one but at least better than the previous one. Wish that all goes well.

Boss was away for 3 days last week. Joy!! Had been busy though. Chatting with Timmy, playing Literati at the same time, surfing the Net for the best resort for Timmy’s birthday, talking with Shikin via Skype (cos she wanted to say things that couldn’t be said out loud a.k.a mengumpat =D ), asking Debi about the PS2 he wanted to sell me, making reservations for the resort, posting and reading blogs and downloading songs and transferring them to my iPod and Tim’s pendrive. So busy wan =)

Tuition and tkd are getting better. Got another class for tuition and another one for tkd. Initially only 1 tkd class was promised, but now I officially have 2 and I’d attend another 2 if I’ve nothing to do for the weekend. Good good.. A few hundred bucks there already and if I take on the other 2 classes, I can get almost a thousand. Not bad for part –time income.

Finally went to Wei Chern’s Chap Goh Mei open house. Have been invited for years but I dunno what to do there, so I always gave excuses. This year I decided that I would go no matter what cos he still invites me year after year despite me always not turning up.

As expected, it was boring. Luckily I had Timmy with me, else I would have felt really really lost there. But still, it was boring, don’t think I will come next year =P Actually I dunno why he invites me over; we hardly talk and I don’t belong to either the tkd group or the colleagues group that day. Previously, I didn’t belong to his form 6 friends group as well. But am touched that he still considers me a friend, a friend that has ‘withstood the test of time =)’ (cos there was no form 6 bunch there that day) and he doesn’t see me as just a friend’s ex. But since they don’t like each other, I don’t think he even considers jc a friend =D

Kids say the darndest things

Scene 1
Empty asked me “Teacher, do you wash your backside?” It’s not even worth opening my mouth to say something nasty to him like ‘Your brain is filled with nothing like poo, toilets and backsides’, so I ignored him. I sometimes think that he is fubar.

Scene 2
In Bukit Rimau tkd class, I had a bunch of about 20 kids aged 4-7 years. After letting them have a drink of water..

“Cikgu, cikgu!”

There was a small crowd crowding over someone on the floor. I thought someone had fallen down or something.

“Cikgu, cikgu dia berpeluh!”

Kids are a pampered lot these days. They come for tkd and complain if they sweat or feel hot. Duh, it’s an exercise! And they can’t even tie their own belts.

And kids.. all sort of things can happen to them. Like in the Tamil school, one of them ran straight into a pillar. Heard the loud bang and he straightaway fell to the floor. Immediately there was a bump the size of 20 sen on his forehead. No joke, though it was highly amusing how could someone run straight into a pillar =D Felt a bit bad cos I said they'd better come back from drinks before I finish counting from 10, that's why they all ran =D

I really have to get something done with my phone. I can hear people but they can’t hear me. I have lots of credit, almost RM 180 but I can’t call anyone cos no one can hear me. It’s really frustrating when there is an urgent call and nothing can be said. But repairing the phone takes a few days and not having a phone for few days is well..very uncomfortable. Which was why I was delaying it. A useless phone is better than none. Well, not entirely useless cos I can still sms (though might have difficulty sending and receiving messages some time later). Buy a new phone for temporary use? But then I might as well buy that phone and not repair it. but I’m just gonna buy a cheap temporary phone. Haiya.

Either my memory is so bad or there are communication problems. But I don’t think my memory is bad when it comes to love =)

I am really getting better at not giving way. All the cars that wanted to squeeze in finally gave up and drove to the front to look for another victim =D

And this morning, a Kancil driven by a woman (of course) with no. WGK 9541 gave way to 7 cars!! 9541, if you somehow happen to read this, you are a moron. I’d kick myself if 1 car manages to squeeze in and you have 7?? Seriously something wrong with you.

Vantage Point was a good movie and one that I understood the storyline clearly without any loopholes. Probably I need movies that have scenes repeated over and over again to fully understand it =D Sometimes I feel embarrassed to ask what’s happening or who was that but turns out that Timmy asks me the same question later, like was that the President or Thomas Barnes =D So I’m not that blur after all. Still wondering though why the President is called Potus..

There are like 240 minutes between the time Timmy reaches home and goes to sleep, so how could we both messaged each other at 11.06pm?? Synchronized missing still happens and never ceased to amaze me =)

Taking part in the KL International Marathon in March under Timmy’s influence. He managed to get his company to participate but I have yet to get mine too. Lily said that our bosses like relaxing activities, not these. Whatever. At first I thought that my participation is to have an evening walk pakthor with Timmy but he seemed so semangat and even wanna train for it. I mean, there is no way I can win anything at that marathon even when I was in good shape. But Timmy said that everyone who finishes gets a cert and the top 500 get a medal. So now I am all psyched up!! Gonna start jogging soon! (I hope)

March looks like an activity-ful month. Timmy’s birthday, bro’s St John camp, F1, elections, marathon, public holiday.. Luckily that the company strategy meeting has been postponed to April. So there will be 2 holidays in 2 months!

In lazy mode now, don’t feel like working anymore.. dread Mondays and the thought that boss is around..
