Farewell dinner and last training

The last training, ironically, was one that made me very nervous. I woke up in the middle of the night dreading it. Timmy said I’ve done it many times, but this time, it was as new to me as it is to clients. Since I was leaving, I didn’t bother reading much on it =P

Anyway, I pulled it through. Skipped those that I wasn’t sure, a manager who was supposed to attend didn’t, many weren’t FPO-adept and I’d think that I explained pretty well for the rest. Good bunch of clients too with my fav Sok May being there, so it was kinda havoc.

It came in a big bag but when opened.. It was a metal rhino keychain which Timmy thought was a metal pig =D Nevertheless, it was touching being appreciated; as Sok May said it was for the troubles. Well, I am paid to be troubled.

Evaluation form. If only it had come a wee bit earlier =)

When they found out that I am going to Toyota, they started giving me name cards! With written handphone number on it! Berebut some more. Unshamedly asked to call them if there are any opportunities! Don’t think I’ve had anyone give me their card unless I offer them mine. Reaffirms that I made the right decision. And starting earlier than expected, next week!

That night, we had a farewell dinner at TGIF. Wendy, James, Kin, Siti, MS, Lai Wah, Sherly and myself. Despite bringing my camera, batteries and even the battery charger, I brilliantly forgot the memory card at the office. Anyway, I soon lost my interest in pic-taking after MS’s pic-taking antics started to piss many of us off that night.

After dinner, I met Timmy for a nice walk at Digital Mall and then McD for dinner/supper. Nice moment =)

The people I’ve worked with for the past 1 year and 5 months..
Kin
The best thing at Nielsen. The office Streamyx but I guess that’s what makes her fun. Not a good idea but I confide (not everything of course) in her about my relationship. Best times was when with James; I think we make a great trio!

James
Good friend #2. His softness and gullibility make him a very good companion (to bully). If I am lazy to do something, I’d just whine and whine and he’d come over =P Sometimes I pity him for he is actually quite a nice guy beneath all the err.. softness.

MS, Lai Wah and Sherly
Lunch gang but nothing to talk about. Not into Chinese dramas and Lam Fung. Totally nothing to talk to MS, only teach Lai Wah her Erican homework and Sherly is the best for I can still make conversation and crap with her.

Lily
The 3rd person that I can talk to. A soon-to-be Klangite after getting married and looking forward to her wedding, where I can catch up with everyone.

Wendy
Talkable, occasional lunch partner. Once my Skype said “Apple Bottom jeans (jeans), boots with the fur (with the fur)” I was amused that she knows the song! Turns out that it’s her sons’ fav song =D

The insignificant ones =P
KusKus who either stinks or sprays so much perfume on himself like it doesn’t cost money. Kak Izan and Kak Su (quite confused between both) whom I exchange smiles at breakfast. Ermma who is sweet and having a thing on with Saiyidi. Dennis who greets my boyfriend but not me! Kwan the kaypochi that is too kaypochi for even a woman. And Siti the fierce lady who makes me laugh when she scolds people sei pat poh!

And lastly..
Madam and boss
Still mad at madam. The only thing I did ‘wrong’ was to resign, ok? Boss is funny.. what kinda boss sings Isabella loudly in his room. And I went to peek at him wearing a jacket sleeping on the couch and looking so comfy. Jealous! And the times he got stood up by TV3’s big bosses and then merajuk. Or when someone asked if he is going to their open house and he said ‘Tak ajak pun?’ Hahaha. And to think of it, I wanted to box his balls once. I still want to if he were to ask that question again.

What a company. It was really good, everything was good, except for the pay. 0.5 day to go tomorrow.
