..work
Pissed. Found out that if I didn’t take the remaining leave that I have left, I would be reimbursed. Thrilled! Then boss said that there is nothing pending and wants to contra those days off.
Call it good luck that the annual dinner is scheduled in the final week of the 2 month notice. Then call it rotten luck that the leave needs to be contra-ed off. Not the matter of eating every last morsel out of AGB but I’m assured of something nice in the lucky draw. Everyone now is asking ‘So you won’t make it for the dinner?’ 1 year and I had to miss it in the final week when I am legally employed and forcefully unemployed. Whatever the heck is. It’s a conspiracy to stop me from attending the dinner!
Do me and I do you. Cost me 600+ bucks and a lucky draw and it serves you right that due to the forced upon shortened tenure (and lack of income), you are left with 2 (and possibly) more sessions of training. You said there is nothing pending, yet asked me to hurry? How to hurry? Well, you said the rest can handle, go handle then.
Conspiracy, conspiracy, conspiracy.
..work again
We just had training and now you want training again. Bodoh ah? Can’t believe I failed to escape with flying colours and have to conduct 3 trainings during my last 3 days in this stupid company. Well, I could have been doing 5 trainings in 5 days but I am ignoring it at the moment.
Special mention to Sok May, a client who is very prihatin. She said that it’s a pity to be doing training on my last day, she would defer it if I didn’t prepare, asked me to give them to the others and called them sei yan thau for not wanting to take them. I love this person :D She is also the one that called me pontianak and also sei pat poh when I told her that I had already signed Stan Chart’s contract =D Let’s just say she is my favourite client and she is the only person I wanna add to my YM when I’ve left.
..job offers
Nil. Still waiting, waiting, waiting, getting desperate, pleading, pleading, waiting, waiting, til wanna go mad already.
…translation
Got my first article to translate, all 11 pages of them. Good already considering that I’ve been told the average is 20 pages. I like this job! Can be done during tuition class, tkd class and anytime while waiting for anything and anyone. So rike!
..outing
Outing’s been changed from Lagoon to skating and movie at Pyramid. Lagoon is maddeningly expensive at RM90 per person! Let’s call for a boycott and it serves them right that even without our boycott, they are already empty. The last time I went there, the fee was RM39 and still full of people. Padan muka.
..kid tales
Teaching for almost a year and a half, I’ve come across all sorts of kids’ names. Picaster is ok and could be cute (but it’s not something I wanna call my kid). Ryane and Rhyon are sweet despite there having no such name. But the one that beats me is Meshach. The strangest I have seen. As suspected, I searched it and true enough, it was a biblical name. Something like Messiah I guess? But that kid is like a hantu!
I have been thinking for some time, that I wanna name my kids something unique(-ly made up) and sweet. Like Ryane - there is no such name but yet it is pleasant. So I wanna give my kids something like that and am ‘creating’ one now =D Somehow Nuala and Nuada (from Hellboy!) keep playing in my mind now, they sound cool yeah? =D Cool but not kid-worthy.
Today is Thursday, tomorrow is Friday..

kids names should be kept short and sweet. if it too long, that poor kid will have a hard time shading the borang OMR for PMR/SPM registration and asking the teacher, 'teacher, not enuff space, how ar?'
Teacher said "Draw your own circles la, bodoh!"
Moral of the story: Don't make your kids draw their own circles in their OMR forms.
